-Senior Manager, Research & Innovation Programs
Josef serves as the Senior Manager, Research & Innovation Programs at NOD, where he is tasked with developing and carrying out pioneering research and grant initiatives focused on improving outcomes for disability inclusion in the workforce. He strives to support NOD as the world’s leading disability employment nonprofit, collaborating internally and externally to build partnerships and thought leadership surrounding accessibility and emerging technologies.
With a background in digital accessibility and disability services, Josef has worked with organizations of all shapes and sizes to promote global disability inclusion. Prior to joining NOD, he worked within the public and private sectors in a variety of cross-functional roles, including at a digital accessibility technology consultancy and a disability education and services nonprofit. Josef has also operated a freelance business providing consulting services to nonprofits, startups and social enterprises.
Outside of work, Josef is passionate about travel; he imagines heaven will look a lot like the Pacific Coast Highway. He is also an avid eater and amateur food historian, and goes out of his way wherever he may be to find holes in the wall that serve great food. You may find him volunteering at the Museum of Food and Drink (MOFAD) in his free time.
Josef holds a Bachelor of Sciences from Cornell University, where he studied Industrial and Labor Relations.
